John Humphrey is an American drummer best known for his work with the American alternative rock band the Nixons and the South African post-grunge band Seether.[1]

Biography

Humphrey was born in Oklahoma City on March 23, 1970, and became interested in music at an early age.[1] He started his first band when he was 13 years old.[1] In 1993, he joined the Nixons,[2] and after their disbandment in 2003, he became the drummer for the South African post-grunge band Seether.[2]

His major drumming influences include Tommy Lee, Keith Moon, Peter Criss, and Deen Castronovo.[1] He is married and has two sons.[3]
