It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 9, 2023, and is scheduled to be released in select theaters in the United States on September 6, 2024, before its streaming debut by Netflix on September 20, 2024.

Reception

On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 100% of 26 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 8.1/10.[2] Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned the film a score of 80 out of 100, based on seven critics, indicating "generally favorable" reviews.[3]

Reviews for His Three Daughters have generally been positive, with Vanity Fair calling the film "a marvelous showcase",[4] and The Hollywood Reporter lauding the three actresses’ performance as "exceptional".[5]
