Eshqabad County[3] (Persian: شهرستان عشقآباد) is in South Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Eshqabad.[4]
History
Tabas County became a part of Yazd province in 2001,[5] transferring to South Khorasan province in 2013.[6]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 11,659 in 3,246 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 10,826 people in 3,284 households.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 10,255 inhabitants in 3,350 households.[2]
