Drumnamether is a small townland within the civil parish of Mullaghbrack (specifically the ONeilland West area), in the historic barony of Orior Lower, County Armagh, Northern Ireland.[1]

Drumnamether spans an area of approximately 1.57 square kilometres (390 acres), making it the 229th largest townland in County Armagh.[2]

Nearby townlands include Marlacoo More, Tannaghmore and Magherydogherty to the west, Cabragh and Drumart to the east, Marlacoo Beg and Teemore to the north, and Moyrourkan and Shanecrackan Beg to the south.[2]

The report from the Schools Commission of 1826 provides information about the educational establishment in the townland:

"Drumnamether - A pay school under the care of Elizabeth Walker, of the Church of Ireland denomination, who was in receipt of 60l. The school was conducted in a cabin, rented at 1l. The number of students is not stated."[3]
