Contested deletion

This page should not be speedy deleted as pure vandalism or a blatant hoax, because... Brian Cox actually said this.--Zermuggleflizbot (talk) 13:35, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Zermuggleflizbot but Wikipedia is not a database of what random people on Twitter said. Qcne (talk) 13:55, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
However, Brian Cox is not random person on Twitter. He is a globally important scientist, educator and commentator.
The proposed article does need revision as it is not a 'law', it is a conjecture. With that revision it should be retained. 92.92.87.109 (talk) 15:52, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Still isn't suitable for Wikipedia. Qcne (talk) 15:56, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It isn't suited for Wikipedia, but it is also not vandalism. A throwaway line from Brian Cox is not vandalism, but it is also not an appropriate topic for an encyclopedia article unless it gains such traction that it is written about in significant detail in reliable sources. -- Whpq (talk) 18:40, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
