Sebastian James Anderson (born November 13, 1992) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician.

Early life and Education

After graduating from Park Hill South High School in 2011, Sebastian James began touring professionally as part of the Nigel Dupree Band. The group would go on to perform at the World’s Largest Biker Bar, the Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis, South Dakota, appearing on seasons four and five of TruTV's television series under the same name.[1][2] The lineup continued to perform extensively across the United States in support of Dupree's 2012 release titled, "Up To No Good." [3]

During this time, James began his studies at Park University where he would later graduate with a Masters in Business and Administration (MBA) in 2018.

Career

In 2019, James founded and launched “The Rock Gods” - a Vegas-style production that pays homage to the genre's most revered icons through pyrotechnic-laden arena rock performances. The group gained international popularity for their high-energy shows and recreation of the performances of many classic rock legends.

In 2024, James broke into the mainstream with the release of his debut solo single, “American Made,” by reaching #39 on the Mediabase Top 40 charts. His follow-up single, “When We Were Young,” propelled him further into the national spotlight, peaking at #23 on the Billboard Charts and #20 on the iHeart Radio Adult Contemporary Charts. [4][5]

James would go on to co-found Tungsten Records, eventually recruiting Dave Collins (audio engineer), a Grammy Award winning mastering engineer known for his productions with Black Sabbath, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, and Metallica - to master his full-length debut titled, "Old School Cool." [6][7][8][9]
