Pharadavla Akhaltsikheli was a representative of the Akhaltsikheli feudal lineage in the first half of the 13th century, the son of Shalva Akhaltsikheli. After the Mongol invasions of Georgia, Phardavla fled to the Sultanate of Rum, Kaykhusraw II, who appointed him as one of his commanders. Together with Dardin Sharvashidze, he commanded the Sultan's army in the Battle of Köse Dağ against the Mongols in 1243. The Sultan's army was defeated, Sharvashidze was killed, and the Sultan himself investigated the curtain. In the words of the chronicler, "he was a brave man and famous among the ranks."
