The National Parliamentary Debate League (NPDL) is the largest high-school parliamentary debate circuit in the United States. The NPDL runs the NPDL Tournament of Champions (NPDL-TOC), the American national championship for parliamentary debate.
The NPDL is also responsible for maintaining rankings of competitors based on their performance at tournaments across the nation.
History
The NPDL was created in 2017 as the "POI Foundation."
NPDL Tournament of Champions
The NPDL Tournament of Champions (NPDL-TOC) is the American national parliamentary debate championship. The tournament uses a points system to determine qualification based on competitors' performance at past invitationals. In 2024, 65 teams attended the NPDL-TOC.[1]
