Kikuo (Japanese: きくお, [kʲikɯo]) is a Japanese music producer and vocal synthesis artist known for using Vocaloid's Hatsune Miku (初音ミク) and ACE Virtual Singer voicebank Qixuan (绮萱). He is commonly accredited for a combination of dark lyrical themes and upbeat musical compositions.

Kikuo began his journey in music production in 2003. He initially immersed himself in game music and internet music platforms such as BMS and Muzie, composing for video games, idol songs, and Toho arrangements. In 2010, Kikuo submitted his first Vocaloid song, marking the beginning of his career as a vocalsynth artist. By 2016, he had performed at the Nico Nico Super Party held at Saitama Super Arena. His music gained further recognition in 2017 when it was featured in the high school textbook "High School Music 1" (Kyoiku Geijutsusha) as "Kikuo feat. Hatsune Miku".[1]

In 2022, his song "愛して愛して愛して" ( achieved the world's number one position in the number of Vocaloid songs played on Spotify.[1]

He appeared in an NHK documentary Professional Work Style: The Ultimate Diva (Japanese: プロフェッショナル仕事の流儀 究極の歌姫).[1]
