Hamim Hussain (born 11 April 2001) is an English snooker player.^[1]

Career

Hussain scored his first competetive maximum 147 break competing on the English Amateur Tour in January 2023, in a 4-0 victory over Reece Matin in Landywood.^[2] He finished the 2022/23 EPSB Open Series as the number one ranked player.^[3]

Competing at the 2024 Championship League in Leicester in June 2024, he earnt credible draws with experienced professionals Stuart Bingham and Anthony Hamilton before whitewashing American professional Ahmed Aly Elsayed 3-0.^[4]

Personal life

From Small Heath in Birmingham, he is also a trained snooker coach. His father Hosoun Miah runs an Indian restaurant, and his brother Halim is also a keen snooker player.^[5]
