C-Nature receiving third place from DJ Evil Dee "Faces in the Crowd" competition at SOB's (2014)

Stephen Bernard Bloom (born December 29, 1986), known professionally as C-Nature (Cannibal Nature), is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer. Renowned for his commanding presence in ciphers and on stage, he earned his moniker by consistently outperforming his competition in rap battles. In (2008), C-Nature took to the stage at the Apollo Theater for the prestigious "Amateur Night" alongside Mr. Mercy, a milestone performance that showcased his raw talent and stage presence. His journey continued with a notable solo performance in (2014) at the "Faces in the Crowd"[1] competition at SOB's, hosted by DJ Evil Dee, where he earned third place and further cemented his place in the hip-hop community.

Music career

In (2011), while residing in the Bronx, NY, C-Nature released his debut solo project, "Powerphernalia[2]." This milestone was achieved through a collaboration with rapper, singer, and producer Jay Butler, who produced and engineered the entire album. Butler's vibrant, envelope pushing, and intricate beats introduced a new sonic landscape for C-Nature, who was previously known for his work over classic boom bap-style hip hop beats. Later that same year, C-Nature teamed up with long time friend and collaborator MC Bravado for their studio album "Dope Perspective[3]". The duo created a lyrical masterpeice with production from Jay Butler, Militant Marxman, J57, Marc Beatz. He collaborated with NoName (James Salvato) on the free mixtape "Pursuit of Crappiness[4]". Additionally, he teamed up with E-Note Inc. for another mixtape, "Skate Swagg[5]". Both projects highlight C-Nature's versatility and his ability to innovate within the genre. In (2013), his former crew the Cypher Junkies, reassembled for their self titled project. They were briefly signed to Elitetisc Records, run by We Are the Stars (Austin & Conner Leech),[6] stationed at the Tree4ort Studios[7] on the corner of Fort Greene in Brooklyn, NY. After securing third place in the "Faces in the Crowd" competition at SOB's, C-Nature connected with one of the judges, Reality the Producer, to release the single "On a Roll[8]". Since then, C-Nature has been collaborating with his longtime friend, producer, and collaborator Militant Marxman on several singles and albums. In (2016), C-Nature released "Dankenstein[9]" featuring production from C-Nature himself, Militant Marxman, and Based Alchemy. Three years later, in (2019), C-Nature released two singles, "Somethin' for the Kids[10]" and "Get with the Program[11]." The following year, in (2020), he released "Memories[12]." All three tracks were subsequently included on C-Nature's (2020) album, "Back From Nowhere[13]," which was primarily produced by Militant Marxman. The album also features "Blow Up Ya Spot," produced by C-Nature, "Jump," produced by Based Alchemy, and lyrical features from Rob Sonic, MC Bravado, Upgrade, Phirst Born, Eubanks, and Trev Mulah. The following year, in (2021), Marxman created fresh new production for the "Back From Nowhere (TheRemix)[14]" album. In the same year, C-Nature dropped the "Unreleased Jams[15]" album, showcasing a curated collection of tracks he had amassed over the years but had never previously released. His latest release is called "Pray For Me[16]" Feat. Pacewon (from da Outsidaz) and produced by Militant Marxman.
