Anurradha Prasad (born 8 December 1962) is an Indian journalist who serves as the Editor-in-Chief of News 24 and the Chairman and Managing Director of BAG Networks.[1][2]

Early Life and Education

Prasad was born in Patna, Bihar,[3] into a Chitraguptvanshi Kayastha family. Her father, Thakur Prasad, was a senior advocate at the Patna High Court and a founding member of the Jan Sangh, the predecessor of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Her brother, Ravi Shankar Prasad,[4][5] is an Indian politician and lawyer associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party. She completed her master's degree in Political Science from the University of Delhi.

Personal Life

Anurradha Prasad is married to Rajeev Shukla.[6][7][5], a Congress politician and the Vice President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)[6]
