Barnsley South is a proposed constituency of the House of Commons in the UK Parliament.[1] Further to the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, it will first be contested at the 2024 general election.
Boundaries
The constituency will comprise the following wards of the Metropolitan Borough of Barnsley (as they existed on 1 December 2020):[2]
- Darfield, Hoyland Milton, Rockingham, Stairfoot, Wombwell, and Worsbrough from Barnsley East
- Kingstone from Barnsley Central
- Dearne North and Dearne South from Wentworth and Dearne (to be abolished) [3]
