Suspected sockpuppets


Ianpaulguerrero account was created during a week long block of Shawntheshipper. Both have used all caps summaries with exclamation marks while editing Rabiya Sundall Mateo.[1][2] They both appear to be primarily focused on beauty pageants and regularly misuse the minor edit tag.[3][4]. Perhaps another editor should be taken into consideration. I'm pretty familiar with the beauty pageant articles and I've only seen "shouting" in edit summaries from two (all caps and/or excessive use of exclamation points): Serene Reel and Kenneth Saclote.

You said that I am damaging and editing Rabiya Mateo's article here in Wikipedia. No, I am not. In fact, I never edited a single thing on her article. Please check the editing history of her article first before saying such thing. And you mentioned that i focused on her birthdate rather than more important things. Well, birthdate is very important in biography and articles such as Rabiya Mateo because Wikipedia has a lot of readers and wide audience so this must be handled immediately to avoid confusion and wrong details about her, we must fix it according to facts and reliable sources as i suggested few hours ago such as Inquirer.net, GMA News, ABS-CBN News, Panay News, and so forth. This IP made an edit on Phillipine beauty pageants, namely one vandalizing Rabiya Mateo, something that Shawntheshipper has vandalized in the past. User:CosbyCreates was created only a few minutes ago and the only edits they have done is to add WikiLove to User Talk:Moltenality whom has already tried to apply for advanced flags, so it seem the WikiLove was just added to make Moltenality more 'worthy' of the rights etc

Adilazeezbukhari recreated Sheikh Asif, previously recreated by Ashfaquenabi and such a non-notable topic that it's unlikely anyone writing about it isn't a sock or paid. Misterrrrr contacted me on my talk page to let me know about some Facebook posts advertising paid editing services. The articles claimed by the advertisement are Giir West, Dog Home Foundation (DHF), Sudhir Mehta (entrepreneur), Pinnacle Industries Limited, EKA Mobility, Dwayne N. Jackson, Md. Saidul Islam Rana, Dholera Smart City, and an article on es.wiki; the deleted articles in this set were all identified as the work of Shawntheshipper socks. So sorry I can't make this more complete but I just put these notes at COIN linking this sockfarm to thamesinfotech.com. You might want to check out User:Thamesinfotech and the related deleted articles esp. Thames Infotech/Draft:Thames Infotech. The Simple English wiki might have more clues, I think it was created there as well.

One final note: they seem to slip between fluencies, e.g. there is Telugu/English code switching added by the master on its talkpage as a going-away present, but other indications by the sockfarm generally are Pakistan (possible but unlikely to be both). ☆ Bri (talk) 08:01, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This very much looks like a paid editing ring, and there may be more accounts that will crop up eventually. They are seems to be active again here, they're trying to block me, see here, 1 Because i'm a new user and played a role in blocking them firstly writing about it on Rosguill's Talk page. I think this sock farm and User:Jamalahmadpk sockfarm are from same location, and they're opponent to each other, because both are doing Sock and I would say Paid Work. They're thinking i'm here their enemy. I'm not here for any profit, i'm just passing my time here, as you check my contributions too. After looking into recent edits of Jamalahmadpk, they had edited Pakistan related articles and Shwantheshipper Socks are also active in Pakistan and Its related articles. They started stalking me from K. T. I can't tie the account to a specific master as the IP ranges are a nest of UPE editing and most of the accounts in the archive are stale, however:

  • CU gives me nothing to tie back to socks of this case, or any other. The new draft is considerably different from previous versions (it's much more badly written for one thing), I think this is somebody else - very possibly a different UPE editor picking up the same job and making a worse job of it. Ancestoral also created a previously deleted Almosafer which was also created by Mahmoudfarag92, Mahmoudalaa1992, Mesbahfarag, Shabi07 (blocked user), AbdennassirCh, even if not related with this case, obviously another UPE sock of a blocked user. Tehonk (talk) 03:32, 9 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
