Uploaded by Montrealais (notify | contribs). Hello, there's something's wrong with the photo of Jack Layton. There is something different between the 2 photos. On the Parliament photo that I uploaded the official Canadian Parliament photo of Jack that shows Jack Layton smiling with teeth showing. On the Quebec City photo of Jack Layton is not smiling without showing the teeth. And the photo of Jack Layton is too wide on this photo. The best photo is the official Parliament photo of Jack Layton smiling. The worse photo is Jack Layton at the NDP federal convention not smiling and not showing the teeth. Wikipedia user Montrealais "We CANNOT use the Parliament photos." If I revert some of the official Parliament photos from every article of the NDP MPs, Wikipedia user Montrealais reverts every photo of NDP MPs at the NDP federal convention back in each article of the NDP MPs and it goes to my user talk page. I don't want Wikipedia user Montrealais to talk to me on my user talk page. I want some of the NDP MPs including the photo of Jack Layton at the NDP federal convention to be deleted immediately. Thank You. Steam5 05:00, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment As has already been explained to you we cannot use the official photos as they are under copyright. wiki Policy (and the law for that matter) cleary states that copywrited photos do not qualify for fair use when a free version is available.  YDAM TALK 00:35, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. There is no problem with this image that warrants deletion, in my view. - Montréalais 04:02, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Uploaded by Montrealais (notify | contribs). I will upload the official Parliament photo of Bill Siksay with the Canadian Parliament copyright, as soon as I can. Every unofficial photo of the NDP MPs at the Federal Convention the has over 500,000 bytes, by over 1200 x 1600 and every photo is too big. I want that photo to be deleted immediately. Uploaded by Montrealais (notify | contribs). I will also upload the official Parliament photo of Denise Savoie is coming soon. I don't like photos from the NDP federal convention in Quebec City. Some of the photos from the NDP MPs at the federal convention that has a summary in English and French. Wikipedia English Version is only in the English language. On this photo of Denise Savoie at the NDP federal convention is way too big. That photo was 1200 x 1600, that was a lot huge! But it has to be deleted as soon as possible. • Keep. There is no problem with this image that warrants deletion. In my view, all the requests by Steam5 for deletion of the NDP MP free-licence photographs are frivolous and the reasons listed are incoherent. I also object to the deletion of comments in support of the photographs, against which I will be vigilant. I believe our time could be much better used. - Montréalais 04:02, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
