Bulldog73

Bulldog73 (talk · contribs · count) I have edited Wikipedia for over a year, but I only managed to rack up more than 2,000 edits. The last editor review I submitted did not get any responses, which is very sad and disrespectful to me. Please take the time to review. Questions

  1. What are your primary contributions to Wikipedia? Are there any about which you are particularly pleased? Why?
I am pleased with the work on Pillow Pets, which I rewrote from the ground up, but indeed a lot of my contributions consist of Recent Changes and New Pages patrolling. I think that these edits will be beneficial when I go up for the RfA someday.
  2. Have you been in editing disputes or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future? If you have never been in an editing dispute, explain how you would respond to one.
There were a lot of times in my editing experience when I was involved in minor conflicts, but they usually ended quickly. If an argument that I am involved in is about to get heated, I will resolve it in the future by saying nice things about the users on WP:A nice cup of tea and a sit down.

Reviews

Looking over your edits, it appears you are doing a great job at new page patrol and anti-vandalism. Reviewing a random revert sampling, your accuracy in identifying vandalism is commendable. Looking over Pillow Pets, the article has greatly improved over the initial revision. Given that you are thinking about running for adminship, I'll base my feedback on that. Generally, the community expects at least 12 months with more than 100 edits in a given month. It doesn't have to be 12 consecutive months, but RfA's with less than 12 months of average activity usually fail. With vandal fighters, the standard tends to be higher, because it is possible for a vandal fighter to make 1000+ edits in a week by using an anti-vandalism program like huggle. While overall editcount really isn't important, candidates generally fail if they have fewer than 10,000 edits. I have two suggestions. Firstly, you might want to consider commenting in articles for deletion discussions, as it assists in establishing that you have a clear grasp of notability and deletion related polices. You might also consider joining a WikiProject in an area that interests you. Or possibly working on getting a Did you know? nomination or two accepted and featured on the main page. Though I will say that you have done very good work overall. With a bit more experience, I see no reason why you wouldn't make a great administrator. Keep up the good work.
