• Oppose. while that was her name in WWE for six years. She spent two years as Tina Ferrari in the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, another two years as Nina in Powerful Women of Wrestling, more years with Ladies Professional Wrestling Association as Tina Moretti. It was still about eight years on the independent circuit (winning the Carolina Championship Wrestling tag team title with "Bambi" (whose wikipedia article is under her real name Selina Majors with a much longer association to Bambi) before she joined the WWE. Then after the WWE she went back to Lisa Moretti in the Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling, winning the championship. It would be appropriate as a redirect, which it already is, but as the primary article name, she has a much longer history under other names including amalgamations of her real name. What about in terms of exposure? Plenty of wrestlers spend years on the independant circuit but gain more exposure in WWE. Take Claudio Castagnoli for instance. His article was recently moved to Antonio Cesaro because the exposure WWE gave him in only about a year's time was a lot more than anything he got as Claudio on the indies. Same here, the duration of her early career combined with the one year after leaving WWE is undeniably longer. But she clearly received an uncomparable amount more exposure wrestling on Raw against The Fabuluous Moolah at the peak of the Attitude Era for the WWF Womens Championship under the Ivory moniker than she did under any other ring names combined. You are taking a very WWE centric view. They are the 800 Lb. Gorilla but not the only game in town. It was 6 years out of almost 30 years in the public eye. Lets look at some of her contemporaries as seen by wikipedia naming, (WWE name first): Sensational Sherri is Sherri Martel, The Godfather is Charles Wright (wrestler), X-Pac is Sean Waltman, Mr. Perfect is Curt Hennig and Sunny is Tammy Lynn Sytch. I hear what you're saying, Trackinfo, and often argue against WWE-centrism. But in this case, WWE is the only major promotion here (though LPWA is arguable). It'd be different if she'd had a run in AJW, AAA or TNA (for example) under a different name. And no, offending Papa Shango would not be wise. Yeah, GLOW seemed pretty big. I didn't watch it, but have read about it. Still, while it may have outscored WWF on Saturday morning, WWF on Monday Nights during Ivory's title reign was undoubtedly hotter than anywhere. What sources did you look at? I only took a quick glance, but most sources currently in the article actually have "Ivory" in the headline, I saw zero with "Lisa Moretti" or any other name.LM2000 (talk) 03:08, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Bob means that literally; that other sources don't use a disambiguator. Personally, I think this is a rather novel interpretation of WP:COMMONNAME, and in particular stretches WP:NATURAL much too far. --BDD (talk) 22:25, 13 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
