Rollback

I've been reverting vandalism for a while, I know how to warn people, report to AIV and request page protection. Rollback will help me revert vandalism quicker. FozzieHey (talk) 20:32, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I've been editing Wikipedia since May 2011. I took a long Wikibreak from mid-2012 to early 2018, and since then, I've edited heavily in reality TV-related articles that attract a lot of vandals. I've been using Twinkle's rollback functionality since June 2011, and I'm comfortable and experienced in identifying and reverting vandalism (as well as in warning users with Twinkle templates, adding personal messages when necessary). I recently became a pending changes reviewer, and since I'm now also monitoring the pending changes log, I have begun to encounter vandalism with more frequency and across a wider scope of articles. I think that Huggle would enable me to be more efficient in my anti-vandal work, so I'd appreciate rollback rights for that. Armadillopteryx 18:49, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I've been in Wikipedia for a while reverting vandalism through TW. Requesting rollback permissions so that I can fight with the vandals more efficiently. Outlander07@talk 16:48, 31 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Since joining in October 2018, I have increasingly been involved in contentious articles helping concensus, in number of AfDs, am a reviewer at AfC and have consistently expanded technical articles and BLPs, establishing as a user in good standing. I further regularly patrol pending changes backlog, random pages and recent edits and reverting problematic edits takes it longer for me in conventional ways. I would hereby request permanent rollback rights to hasten the maintenance work I undertake on Wikipedia. Aman Kumar Goel (Talk) 07:41, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I have patrol rights in Turkish Wikipedia. I'm also fighting vandalism on the English Wikipedia. I am competent in this regard. That's why I want Rollback rights. Thank you. --𝘋𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘴 ϟ Heyyo? 08:55, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

(Non-administrator comment) Dicayes you may have other rights xwiki, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you will get other privileges here. Just sayin'. PRAHLADbalaji (M•T•AC) This message was left at 09:04, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Prahlad balaji, I am aware of this. I'm just trying to prove that I know what "vandalism" means and know how to overcome it. Thanks for your comment. By the way, I've already passed 200 changes. --𝘋𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘴 ϟ Heyyo? 10:39, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Dicayes If you think you meet the criteria, I accept it by all means. I'm just double-checking. --PRAHLADbalaji (M•T•AC) This message was left at 21:45, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

(Non-administrator comment) Hi Granitoons, that's not what rollback is for. The vandalism will probably be over by the time an admin closes this. You can use Twinkle, Undo, RedWarn, or just manually revert. --PRAHLADbalaji (M•T•AC) This message was left at 21:47, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I've been editing Wiki since 2017. Since this year, I have increasingly been involved in reverting vandalism activities (following rules and procedures of Wiki). The rollback function will make my task far more efficient.

Thank you very much. Your approval is highly appreciated! Timothy19 (talk) 09:23, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I intend to use this tool to perform anti-vandalism activities on a regular basis involving reverts of vandalism posts with edit summary and placing warnings on their talk-pages. If and when required I also report to WP:AIV and WP:AN/3. Thank you. ~ Amkgp 💬 18:02, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Amkgp weren't you warned by Swarm that you'd be indefbanned from PERM if you made another implausible request again? Better proceed carefully... --PRAHLADbalaji (M•T•AC) This message was left at 07:46, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. This is not what Rollback is for. Take a moment to read Wikipedia:Rollback and if that's what you would like to do, you can then check out the Counter Vandalism Unit to learn more. "Undo" performs the action you describe. I originally created my account almost over a year ago, I made few edits but over the past few weeks I have become an active contributor to Wikipedia. I am often found reverting vandalism, warning users and patrolling the Recent changes logs. Lately I have been using Twinkle but the ability to use Rollback will make reverting vandalism easier and more efficient. Cairo2k18 (talk) 07:36, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
