I've been editing on and off for 12+ years, haven't been as active lately but would like to try to spend a little more time again working on articles. I recently was granted Pending changes reviewer which i have efficiently used well in the lat few months and still using . (Non-administrator comment) - @Username Needed: - just a note, though there is not currently a rule preventing the same editor from both reviewing and patrolling an article, it's had a fair bit of disagreement on the issue - just so you're aware of the viewpoints. Not only is the experienced AFC reviewer well qualified to patrol, we did a big drive to get all AfC reviewers the NPP right a few months ago. There is no meaningful controversy and there have been a number of steps to merge to rights together. Legacypac (talk) 23:34, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I might dispute that the now near-standard joint giving of rights means the controversy has disappeared for using both together, but this is probably a better discussion for the project's talk page, rather than cluttering up PERM. Hi there! I have been editing Wikipedia for almost a decade now. My accomplishments here are mostly in-line with nominating articles to become "Good-Status" articles. However, I would like to take the responsibility of being able to review new pages. I have seen hundreds of new pages in the New Page Patrol that needs to be reviewed. So far, I have never been blocked, and so far most of my edits in the past 6 months have remained strong. I look forward for a favorable response. I have returned to editing the last few months after editing heavy from 2010-2014. Upon returning I found out I cannot log new pages as patrolled due to this new user group.
