Pending changes reviewer

User:Souravdas1998

Kindly add me as a pending reviewer. Now, I regularly check vandalism, so that quality of Wikipedia doesn't hamper. I understand the rules for the right. Thanks. SouravDas1998t@lk to me? 21:01, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Not done While your recent foray into antivandalism efforts is to be thanked, I'd like to see a bit more edting history to prove knowledge and understanding of WP:BLP and WP:NPOV policies. ~ Amory (utc) 19:27, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

At over 38,000 edits, I figured that I would like to acquire the pending changes reviewer right to better handle anonymous vandalism and non-vandalism on pc-protected articles on my watchlist. Lordtobi () 14:49, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: If your goal is to fight vandalism, why don't you have rollback? I'd be inclined to grant that, as I've noticed your prolific efforts fighting vandalism. I'll add that some of your reports to AIV have been inappropriate, mostly jumping to conclusions too rapidly for accused VOAs, which concerns me more for PCR than rollback. I'd welcome another sysop's opinion, though, as I'm probably over-generous when it comes to AIV. ~ Amory (utc) 15:21, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'm currently applying for a few usergroups. Does being a rollbacker have a great advantage over using Twinkle for rollbacking (apart from officiality status)? Either way, I could also just apply for that user group in addition to this, right? Lordtobi () 15:58, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Depends on your view, I suppose, but it's quite quick. I've granted rollback, but am leaving this for another sysop to peruse. ~ Amory (utc) 16:16, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Pending changes reviewer is probably the most lightweight extended permission that administrator can assign, so we tend to grant it on a fairly liberal basis – to anyone with a track record of editing. Personally, AIV issues concern me more for rollback than PCR, since rollback (unlike PCR) grants access to anti-vandalism tools like Huggle, which have the ability to make many dozens of edits (mostly reverts against new editors) very quickly. There's not really any "officiality" or "status" involved with rollback; we just want to make sure you can identify vandalism correctly. Mz7 (talk) 23:35, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I like to requesting for pending changes reviewer rights. I am an experienced editor. This right will make my work more easier to contribute. And I already read about WP:RPC policy. Siddiq Sazzad (Chat) 06:07, 4 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Alex Shih: What is reason behind? Siddiq Sazzad (Chat) 06:25, 4 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Siddiqsazzad001: You need to work yourself back into good standing before trying to apply for any advanced user permissions again, thanks. Please focus on improving your editing first. Alex Shih (talk) 06:49, 4 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to be granted this permission so that I can review pages with pending changes, so as to help to clear the backlogs and to better my efforts in fighting vandalism on Wikipedia. Thanks. Zyc1174 (talk) 17:35, 4 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
