Rollback

I frequently undo vandalism and having an easier way to revert back to a correct version would help make the process go way faster. Tdts5 (talk) 17:48, 13 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not done Not enough experience nor has demonstrated good understanding of policies. Alex ShihTalk 19:42, 13 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I do a fair amount of recent page patrolling and it would be handy for dealing with serial vandals who go on sprees. Dammitkevin (talk) 21:21, 13 August 2017 (UTC) Dammitkevin (talk) 21:21, 13 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not done You seem to be a promising content contributor, but the rollback access requires evidence/familiarity of counter-vandalism work (this is mentioned in Wikipedia:Huggle and Wikipedia:Rollback#Requesting rollback rights), and I don't see any at the moment. Please apply again when you have gained more experience. Regards, Alex ShihTalk 10:25, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I do a fair amount of editing in a number of different areas, and this reality unfortunately includes cases of vandalism. I have on several occasions found myself vexed by smart or fast-paced vandals who make multiple edits in rapid succession and as such prevent me from reverting their work in a timely manner. Consider granting me rollback privileges so that I can edit to the best of my ability. SamHolt6 (talk) 18:53, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I frequently monitor the recent changes page and revert vandalism using WP:TW as well as report troublesome users. I also quite often add certain pages to my watch history to keep an eye on them. I feel having rollback well help with my ability to manage vandalism, especially when there can be multiple IPs. NZ Footballs Conscience(talk) 10:03, 15 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: Thank you for your request. Can you address the edit warring notice on your talk page from last month? Alex ShihTalk 01:10, 16 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: Sure, thank you for your question. This was a mistake on my part and something I’ve learnt from. I’m passionate about football (as my name suggests), and got into a silly edit war with a user on the page of the manager of the New Zealand football team. I feel I have learnt from it and have become a better user and of course, now know rather than keep reverting. To take the discussion to the talk page.
