I have written more than 150 articles in enwiki and I need to have "New Page reviewer access" for having more contributions on other articles and make wikipedia a better and safer place for getting information and for fighting against vandalism. Diako «  Talk » 14:36, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
In the Persian Wikipedia I'm a patroller and eliminator. As a patroller I can see the list of 50 newest articles and review and observe them for example correct the wrong pronunciations of the titles and nominate the irrelevant articles for deletions and so on. I want to have such an accessibility in the English Wikipedia. Without observing the list of newest articles, It is impossible to observe and review the newest articles. Most of my editions has been in the field of writing articles yet, but from now on I want to have participation in the field of maintenance. Diako «  Talk » 21:17, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Alright thank you.  Done. Swarm 21:24, 31 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I am already familiar with most of the policies. I have been lurking in AfD since almost two months now. It polished my knowledge further more. I can easily, and proficiently review/patrol new pages (not stupidly accepting unecncyclopaedic articles, or drive by tagging). I have also been doing some contribution through Special:NewPagesFeed. Even though not much active, I am always updated with Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers and few related talkpages.
Currently, there is a backlog about 23-24k pages. If granted the right, I can easily work on 5 pages per day. That is ~150 pages per month. —usernamekiran(talk) 00:01, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Usernamekiran:  Done. A few minor bits of feedback. At Baseball WA and Baseball SA, you added a PROD tag to the articles for "notability issues" and also that "Wikipedia isn't a list". However, Wikipedia does have many list articles, so perhaps your rationale may need clarifying. Additionally, I would try to provide links to relevant policies/guidelines in your rationales; for example, if you are claiming a subject is non-notable, provide a link to the relevant notability guideline (e.g. WP:GNG). Oftentimes on new page patrol, the editors who create the articles you PROD will be new to Wikipedia, so they won't necessarily understand what it means for a Wikipedia article to be "non-notable", so it helps to be as descriptive as possible by providing a link. Been somewhat active in CSD, AFC, and AFD. I would like the page curation tool script to help chip away at the backlog. Stikkyy (talk) (contributions) 04:36, 27 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I used to have the previous New Page Patroller and likely qualify grandfathered for this ability. I spend much of my time sifting out spam, hoaxes, and other unsuitable material, and occasionally do that in the New Pages queue. I was invited to apply via my talk page. My first request rationale: I would like to request NPR due to the fact that I often tag new pages. I confirm that I have read the tutorial. My second: I would like to request NPR due to the fact that I often tag new pages. I confirm that I have read the tutorial. I was declined a month ago and told to come back in 90 days' time, but I think that I have gained enough experience. CSD log and PROD log. My PROD log is half-blue due to rescued BLP PRODs. I also sometimes review AfC drafts. Please consider carefully. I could easily review over 10 per day, possibly 20 including CSD taggings. It has been 90 days (and 16 hours, 27 minutes), and I haven't recieved a major complaint (or much of a complaint at all) for over a month, and I believe I am now I think I am ready (and please don't make me wait a fortnight like last time!). Again, please consider carefully. J947(c) (m) 04:27, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Oops, a day off. 7 hours until one of those two links wouldn't be there. :) Also, the backlog is still growing at 22,000+. J947(c) (m) 04:51, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The more persistent you get, J947, the more likely you are to find yourself the back of the queue. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 14:53, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have been with Wikipedia since March 30, 2017. I would like the page curation tool script to help chip away at the backlog. I have also edited 2000 namespace (950 in article) according this statistics. I have read through Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Reviewers. Thank you.  Not done. Please read the instructions again. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 13:35, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I already read the instructions in Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Reviewers. Prinsipe Ybarro (Talk to me | Contributions) 13:42, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Then you realise, Prinsipe Ybarro, that not only does NPR require 90/500, but it also requires people who can read instructions, because WP:NPP has a lot of them. And admin shopping is very much frowned upon.Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 14:42, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

User:UnitedStatesian

I'd like to get more involved in reviewing new pages. UnitedStatesian (talk) 13:33, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Not done, for now. You have been extremely inactive for the past two years. Please get up to speed with the new tutorial at WP:NPP (it's complex, but there are things in it that make the task easier), and ask again in a month. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 14:48, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

User:Tutelary

I've done my fair share of page patrolling and demonstrated correct use of the speedy for deletion tags. You can read my User:Tutelary/CSD_log from Twinkle, as well as PROD log and even AFD log. I am only requesting this as I was attempting to curate some new pages only to see the functions disabled, and see that this userright is needed to use those tools again. Thank you.
