Rollback

User:PharyngealImplosive7

I often revert vandalism and warn users on their talk pages. I think this right could help me in these efforts quite well. PharyngealImplosive7 (talk) 18:02, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for requesting rollback rights - I have been fighting vandalism wherever I found since I joined, now I have started removing vandalism more efficiently and started patrolling recent changes from around a month and I would like to have rollback permissions to be able to access more powerful tools like Huggle to do it more efficiently. It will help me alot to handle vandalism. Thanks a lot!✠ ZenDragoX✠ (contact) 11:50, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not done For the exact same reason that your previous request was declined. I reviewed your contributions and found little to no recent anti-vandalism work. If you're still interested in this tool then please spend at least a month actively patrolling RecentChanges (Twinkle & RedWarn can help with that) before reapplying. Also, please ensure that you are consistently warning editors when you revert their edits. Thanks, Fastily 22:42, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I always revert vandal edits that's why I want rollback rights so I can easily revert vandalism. Here are some recent reverts. Someonewhoisusinginternet (talk) 13:21, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not done I sampled your recent reverts and found numerous instances where you are reverting good faith edits (e.g. 1, 2, 3). To be clear, none of these edits contsitute vandalism. I can't stress enough the importance of not biting the newcomers; if you find yourself reverting good faith edits, then it's especially important to notify the editor; I recommend using tools such as Twinkle or RedWarn which make this very easy. If you don't want to leave a template warning, that's completely fine, but you do need to leave a talk page message explaining why you reverted the edit. If you're still interested in this tool then please spend at least a month actively patrolling RecentChanges before reapplying. Thanks, Fastily 22:42, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have had rollback earlier this year and, after a short break, am back to editing Wikipedia and would like to be able to use rollback permissions in order to more effectively undo unconstructive edits. Thank you. HeartCat1 🏳‍🌈 💬📝 16:16, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not done You've been gone for 6 months, and today's your first day back. I'd like to see you spend a bit of time editing/re-familiarizing yourself with Wikipedia before assigning you advanced permissions -Fastily 22:42, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
