Faith Gillezeau (born 16 November 1998) is a Trinidadian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago 2023.[1][2][3] She succeeded Tya Jané Ramey who placed her in the Top 16 at Miss Universe 2022 in New Orleans in January, 2022. Some of the contestants included Miss San Fernando, Jen-ai Mohammed, and Miss Sangre Grande, Dalise Lockhart, who were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.[3] [1]

Background

Early life

Gillezeau was born on 16 November 1998, in San Fernando, the most populous city and second most populous municipality in Trinidad and Tobago, after Chaguanas.[3] The 25-year-old is a pharmacist and national squash athlete.[3]

Pageantry

Miss Universe 2023

Gillezeau was crowned Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago on the Sunday of July 2 at Queen’s Hall, St Ann's in in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.[3] She will represent Trinidad and Tobago with the national flag at upcoming The 72nd Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador at the pageant venue Adolfo Pineda National Gymnasium (Gimnasio Nacional Adolfo Pineda) on Saturday November 18, 2023 where the reigning Miss Universe 2022, R'Bonney Gabriel will crown her successor at the end of Grand Finale.[3][1]
