Pending changes reviewer

User:Dan Leonard

I've been editing wikipedia for over a decade (on and off, not continuously) and I mostly clean up minor vandalism. I'd like to be able to review pending changes in addition to cleaning up vandalism that's already in place.

I know what vandalism is and what it is not, and I am very familiar with the basic content policies, as I have watched their formation and refinement over the last decade and a half. Dan Leonard (talk) 21:23, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've been editing for some time and I know what is and what is not allowed on Wikipedia. I also have a lot of time on my hands that can go towards helping project. This permission would be helpful in dealing with vandalism. Having this permission means I could fix pending edits, revert nonsense/vandalism pending edits and accept good edits. I have been an active editor here for the better part of 2 years. I am familiar with the notability guidelines and everyday I always correcting typos and misspellings to many articles permission would be helpful in addressing vandalism. Pfomma (talk) 10:46, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am very active in fighting vandalism/disruption, and I would like to be able to review edits that are made to pages under pending changes protection. Thank you for your consideration. FatCat96 (talk) 04:08, 21 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am an active editor on Wikipedia And I always keep an eye on the article. Something definitely needs changing bio in the article. I could fix pending edits, revert nonsense/vandalism pending edits and accept good edits. I can fix the vandalism and every new and old article. I have experience four years of Wikipedia's and being an old editor, I can understand it well. Zimidar (talk) 05:43, 21 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: This request appears to follow changes I, a NPPer, have made on an article this editor has significantly contributed to (Nasir Zaman). I have twice removed several citations per WP:REFBOMB/WP:OVERCITE, then tagged the article for notability, given that none of the sources provided significant coverage of the subject. I have searched for other articles naming this individual but haven't found anything, though this could be a laguage/location issue. This user has now threatened to have me blocked for vandalism (see my talk page). Significa liberdade (talk) 04:44, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've been editing Wikipedia for years and nobody has ever had anything bad to say about me. I'm a true believer in Wikipedia's mission of provided free and uncensored information to the whole planet, and I want to increase the areas in which I am helping that mission. I feel like I can do this by being a PCR by making constructive edits go through faster and destructive edits get removed faster. Thank you for your consideration. Hello! I have been reviewing recent changes for over a month now after downloading RedWarn. I've been an AfC reviewer for a year now and an editor for over a year and a half. I would like to be a pending changes reviewer so that when I see pending changes in the recent changes log, I can do something about it (or just review them separately). Also, I've created four articles. —asparagusus (interaction) sprouts! 00:52, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
