Rollback

I have about 9 months old account with about 1300 edits with Redwarn and Twinkle. I am especially active at RCP and editing the ITN articles. I would like to request for rollback permission to use advanced tools like Huggle and Antivandal. Boyinaroom (talk) 06:00, 7 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I have been using tools like twinkle and Ultraviolet to revert vandalism. I would like the rollback right so I could use other more advanced tools like Huggle.CocaPopsRather (talk) 21:20, 7 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback rights would be a very useful tool for fighting vandalism, something I have done on plenty of occasions while watching the Recent Changes feed. GraziePrego (talk) 08:00, 8 October 2023 (UTC) GraziePrego (talk) 08:00, 8 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@GraziePrego: Looking through your last few hundred contributions I don't see any examples of reverting vandalism, though I may be overlooking it. Could you give some examples of reverting such vandalism? - Aoidh (talk) 16:54, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, here are a few examples:

I have made various edits using twinkle for months. It would be helpful to have access to rollbacks SKAG123 (talk) 00:04, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am reapplying for rollback as I feel that I have gained significantly more experience with anti-vandal work through tools like RedWarn and Twinkle that I can handle rollback. I do not plan to use Huggle again, but I would like rollback to deal with persistent vandalism to a page with good-faith revisions in-between. Reverting vandalism. I'll be very cautious when reverting. Ryanisgreat4444 (talk) 17:16, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not done Your request doesn't address the quick turn around between you being granted rollback and it being revoked (discussed here). Use of rollback requires an understanding of what is and is not vandalism, and this edit made yesterday for example raises concerns about that. While this may not have been constructive and perhaps misguided, it was not vandalism. Aoidh (talk) 18:01, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am editing Wikipedia from many months, I edit many pages cognate to Science, Politics especially articles cognate to TV channels. I have to revert many disrupted edits by incipient users & IP. In pages cognate to politics many users come and transmute the content I utilize any other things to revert those vicissitudes, I require Rollback as it will avail me a lot to fight vandalism. Please provide me this feature. ✠ ZenDragoX✠ (contact) 13:46, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've been an editor for about 18 years and a permission such as this would be helpful in reverting bad edits, vandalism, etc. Kimontalk 22:44, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
