New page reviewer

I was invited to apply for this permission a few days ago. After reviewing the entire tutorial, I feel that I understand the approach and policies for reviewing new pages and could help with the existing backlog. ~TPW 18:08, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

True Pagan Warrior, can you clarify whether you intend to eventually publish User:True Pagan Warrior/The Wild Hunt in mainspace and whether you have a conflict of interest with the subject? signed, Rosguill talk 23:43, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Applying in response to an invitation at User_talk:Mdewman6#Invitation; I can certainly help with the redirect backlog, and will wade into review of articles to the extent I feel comfortable doing so. Mdewman6 (talk) 00:19, 29 July 2023 (UTC) Mdewman6 (talk) 00:19, 29 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Responding to invitation on talk page and willingness to help with backlog. Have successfully published ~200 new articles to enWP and made +34,000 edits. For the record, I also do work for the Wikimedia Foundation, but am obviously not seeking the rights for any work related purposes and would use this strictly in a volunteer capacity - I just wanted to be transparent about my non-volunteer connection. Reason for requesting new page reviewer rights I want to help reduce the backlog and aid new writers in writing better articles. I was once a new and inexperienced Wikipedia user, and want to help others make the progress I did. AlexandraAVX (talk) 07:26, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. Thanks for applying, but with 410 edits to mainspace, you do not currently meet the minimum requirements for this permission. Feel free to gain experience and come back later. To be a strong candidate, you will also want to gain experience in an area that demonstrates that you know WP:N well, such as WP:AFD. –Novem Linguae (talk) 07:46, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have experience in WP:CSD and WP:AFD and am willing to help out in reviewing new pages. Lightoil (talk) 07:47, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Upon receiving invite and reviewing tutorial, I feel like I can help with the new page backlog. I have interacted with many types of pages and have developed a few of my own. I have regularly found information that made me feel like there were some simple recommendations that could be made to the editor on the pages and have wondered about how pages are reviewed. I have used maintenance tags and am familiar with most of them from WikiProject cleanup or WikiProject Unreferenced articles. I also enjoy helping with orphaned articles. Reapplying because I'm back from Wikibreak. Thanks. The Herald (Benison) (talk) 23:17, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings, I have arrived here through an invitation. I took some time to carefully consider applying for this opportunity right after receiving the invitation, as I wished to familiarize myself with the guidelines and pertinent matters concerning New Pages Patrol. Having thoroughly reviewed the guidelines, I believe that I am able to contribute in this field of Wikipedia. Thanks. –MinisterOfReligion (Talk) 13:03, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I received a message on my talk page here from Zippybonzo inviting me to become a new page patroller. I have read over some of the tutorial and plan to study the flowchart more closely. I feel that I can help review new pages well, as I have experience with AfD, CSD, and some with PROD (although a bit less). I am obviously auto-patrolled, and I have a lot of experience creating articles, with hundreds as seen here. Paul Vaurie (talk) 23:35, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
