New page reviewer

I am coming back to editing Wikipedia after a long hiatus and would like to contribute to the new page reviews HagennosTalk 01:26, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

(Non-administrator comment) This request will probably be processed as coming from a brand new editor. 64 edits spaced thinly over the last 5 years and a total of only around 1,400 edits before that is not a lot and much has happened with new policies, rules, and tools since you were last active. NPP needs people who have demonstrated consistency. Perhaps you might be ready for this when you have shown three consecutive months of solid editing and in places that will provide the deciding admin with some metrics to assess your work. Hello, I joined wikipedia exactly one year ago today with 5 of the past 12 months being active. Over the past year I have gained a good grasp of Wikipedia policies regarding MOS, notability and deletion. I have been wanting to become a NPP for some time and only feel that now I have the proper experience and education to effectively handle the tasks involved. This includes experience my user contributions, having created pages, tagging pages in relation to its issues, fixing page issues, PROD tagging, AfD tagging and discussions, and, having read numerous times, comprehended, and learnt- all the sections of the NPP tutorial, Wikipedia's deletion policy, Wikipedia's notability guidelines, and I have made myself familiar many of the resources provided to NPP's. In addition, I believe I am well suited dealing with newcomers in providing them with the knowledge to improve their future editing and not be discouraged. I understand if my edit count is still too low or I am yet to establish a sufficient track record but I thought I'd give this request a shot. - GA Melbourne (talk) 05:59, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
