Sorry, unregistered users cannot be granted permissions due to technical restrictions. Please create an account in order to request user account permissions.

If you are requesting this access for a special event, please include the date(s) of your event and a link to the event page if possible.
Newer editors will receive this permission temporarily for an event. Established editors involved with outreach may be granted access without expiration.
Editors who currently have account creator only for outreach purposes will usually have that permission removed when the event coordinator user group is granted.
If your account creations will use the Programs & Events Dashboard this access is no longer required unless you will also be manually flagging your attendees as "confirmed".

I am an approved Wikimedia UK trainer since 2019. I regularly host or co-host editathons and similar events. Eg see here.

Occasionally I have to rely on a colleague or fellow trainer to get users set up for these events, and having the rights to do so myself would be very useful. Thanks. Watty62 (talk) 16:39, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
