Mérida AD → AD Mérida – The name of the team's article is not currently used, the team changed its name in 2015, and the name is on the team's website, twitter account and RFEF results table. Viktorcc (talk) 19:53, 30 March 2021 (UTC+2)
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 23:50, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Viktorcc and Rmhermen: queried move request Anthony Appleyard (talk) 23:51, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- Usage seems heavily mixed even by official sites. www.admerida.es has a title of Merida AD, twitter account AD Merida has @Merida_AD Rmhermen (talk) 18:48, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- Note: This discussion has been included in WikiProject Football's list of association football-related page moves. GiantSnowman 11:32, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose - sources refer to it as 'Mérida AD', see e.g. Soccerway and WorldFootball. GiantSnowman 11:59, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. The proposed name is used in primary sources, but secondary sources continue to use the current name. This may change but we do not anticipate such changes. Andrewa (talk) 19:28, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
