I can vouch for HurricaneEdgar to become PCR - their grammar shouldn't be too much of a concern since they clearly understand what is vandalism and what is not. MarioJump83! 04:00, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment) I disagree that their grammar isn't much of a concern, considering the fact that obvious vandalism edits frequently contain broken grammar, of which this user might not be able to discriminate from. Their understanding of vandalism should come from a check on their edit history, not just their grammar skills. I also can't vouch for this user due to the technical issues (and misunderstanding of policy) that they frequently come across (see their talk page archives, 1 and 2). This request is almost a month old. Can an admin please make the decision? By the way, I am leaning oppose (per Chlod). 🐔 Chicdat  Bawk to me! 11:23, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. HurricaneEdgar has indicated at Special:Diff/1008088278 that they have retired. I hope all is well. — Newslinger talk 16:08, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Newslinger, They are back now, once again. I'm now in the oppose territory with concerns by Chlod, so I don't think there is need for that permission. MarioJump83! 13:18, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have a reasonable editing and article creation history and I'm very much familiar with Wikipedia:Copyrights, what is vandalism and what is not. I really want to contribute in the pages with edits awaiting review. Nalbarian (talk) 05:18, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. Although your previous declined request was three months ago, you've made fewer than 50 edits since then, which isn't enough of a track record on which to base a decision. I would suggest editing actively for a couple of months in areas that interest you and at the same time demonstrating your knowledge and application of Wikipedia policies, then I would be happy to reconsider. I am requesting this right to address ongoing vandalism across the substantial watchlist I monitor. I have a lengthy and significant track record (16 years) of good edits and article contributions and am familiar with Wikipedia's vandalism policy. Hintha(t) 20:46, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've been reverting vandalism for a while, and would like to be able to review pending changes and deal with vandalism to those articles. — csc-1 22:25, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Hi Arccosecant, let's do a one-month trial. Please review the relevant pages (listed in the message on your user talk page) and follow the instructions to the best of your ability while reviewing pending changes at Special:PendingChanges over the course of the next month. When the permission is about to expire, please submit a new request to have the permission instated permanently upon review. — Newslinger talk 20:34, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I understood what is the pending changes reviewer. I am sure I will be able to do this work. Thank you. Dam222 🌋 (talk) 20:59, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I've been editing for quite sometime now, making almost ~1,000 edits in the process. I usually counter IP vandalism and believe that being a pending changes reviewer would be of great help. Thank you. ShelteredCook (talk) 01:39, 14 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I want to request to be a pending changes reviewer, I edit everyday and noticed articles that needs review. I am now an autoconfirmed and extended confirmed user and I first edit on December 18, 2020. I also read the rules on how to be a pending changes reviewer and I will do my best to be a PCR. For the last 15 years, I've been an active, careful, and clear editor, creator, and curator of deficient articles. In my opinion, the PCR permission would fit my experience and devotion, and upgrade my abilities and skills significantly. Thank you. — Kochas 21:42, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
As an occasional Recent Changes patroller and someone who watches a few PC-protected articles, I often find edits waiting for approval. I am a regular user of Twinkle's vandalism-reverting and warning features, and believe I have a solid grasp of the relevant content policies. — Goszei (talk) 05:15, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I've been on Wikipedia for over a year now, and I just today found out that I have great fun rolling back vandalized pages. I know what is and what is not vandalism, and use the undo tool to undo accidental or intentional changes. I can also rewrite sections on pages that don't have enough info, but I am not too good at finding citations. Capsulecap (talkcontribs) 02:01, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Paradise Chronicle (t · th · c · del · cross-wiki · SUL · edit counter · pages created (xtools · sigma) · non-automated edits · BLP edits · undos · manual reverts · rollbacks · logs (blocks · rights · moves) · rfar · spi · cci) (assign permissions)(notify)=

I was active at Abdullah Öcalan, where an IP was able to edit the page and include the description terrorist for the PKK of which Öcalan is the historical leader of, while my revert was only accepted after pending changes reviewer House Blaster reviewed the page. I'd like to avoid similar situations in the future, am quite experienced on Wikipedia, have created several BLPs and know what vandalism is and what not. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 09:25, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. Unfortunately, the pending Arbitration Committee decision at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Kurds and Kurdistan/Proposed decision § Paradise Chronicle warned rules out granting permissions at this time. Please reapply after at least six months of uncontroversial editing. — Newslinger talk 21:26, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi User:Newslinger, according to the section becoming a pending changes reviewer there is nothing mentioned about a warning nor anything else which would invalidate my request. I couldn't find anything at WP:WARNING too which invalidates my request. Could you elaborate on your decision or at least include "not having received a warning (by the ArbCom) to the requirements?Paradise Chronicle (talk) 16:38, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Besides, the case wasn't even closed and the virtually topic banned ThePharoah17 was still allowed to remove Kurdistan from articles.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 16:38, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment) Per the guidelines at WP:RPC § Becoming a reviewer, a criterion is that You have a reasonable editing history. The proposed warning from the ArbCom is an indication that this criterion may not be met. — Twassman [Talk·Contribs] 19:48, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If no-one answers my question, I withdraw it. An indication is not an evidence and for this I will get the warning for, for mentioning something "without evidence".Paradise Chronicle (talk) 21:18, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
And now I have come to the conclusion I have discussed enough over this ArbCom Case at this page. It's ok. I'll come through also without the new changes reviewer on Wikipedia. I can also apply for action from a new changes reviewer.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 21:42, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I belive that I have what it takes to be a pending changes reviewer. I am trying to fight vandalism as best as I can, and have succesfully stopped several vandals. I think that I can distinguish between what is constructive editing and what is not. I think that I would prove my worth as a pending changes reviewer if it were granted to me. βӪᑸᙥӴTalkContribs 23:18, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm requesting a PCR privilege as I know it would help me with reviewing edits made by a user on a protected page, reverting vandalism, removing unsourced content, etc... I have been reverting vandalism since 2018. I have also read all the guidelines related to becoming a PCR and I feel this would allow me to achieve further in my goal as a editor and keep Wikipedia a better place. Thank you very much and cheers! VictorTorres2002 (talk) 08:15, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I would like to request PCR rights, I have been editing on Wikipedia for 3 years on this account and around 6 under another account (I lost access to that account due to closing down my email address associated with that account). I am actively fighting vandalism via the recent changes page and feel I could help by being a PCR. I understand Wikipedia policy. I am also part of the welcoming committee. Thank you Tommi1986 (talk) 12:08, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
As a Counter Vandalism Unit Academy graduate, I do fight vandalism and that is one of my main focus on Wikipedia. I want PCR permission so that I will review pending changes. I have read all the related policies and guidelines. Thank you! Kammiltalk09:13, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am nominating this user for this permission because they’ve been here since last April, has been reverting vandalism using both Twinkle and RedWarn, and has over 1,700 edits in the mainspace. Definitely here to make Wikipedia a safer place to be. -Cupper52Discuss! 09:23, 23 February 2021 hUTC)

I mostly do anti-vandalism work here, and I sometimes come across vandalism in pending changes, and I could help out with that. ThatIPEditor Talk · Contribs 06:12, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
