Hello, I'm an occasional NPP reviewer. The recent ACT permanent implementation and the draft discussions listed at WP:CENT piqued my interest in drafts. I'm happy to help out here and review a few drafts a week, especially any related to biology. Ajpolino (talk) 17:51, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to help improve potential new articles and help new users understand the notability requirements. I believe a good AFC experience would encourage new users to keep editing, even if their article ends up getting deleted. I would also like to help new users understand how to find reliable, independent sources. I have created and improved many articles, and have extensive experience with AFDs. I understand the notability requirements. I would take this responsibility seriously and strictly follow all guidelines. I would not approve articles if there's any question of notability. I enjoy improving articles and working with new users, which I think would be beneficial in this role. Lonehexagon (talk) 04:12, 3 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm relatively new to Wikipedia but I wanted to help out with the backlog. I review the New Page Feed every once in a while and I've participated in a handful of AfDs. I also help to revert vandalism and have rollback perms (which doesn't mean much, I know). <RetroCraft314 talk/> 21:48, 5 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm a new edit reviewer and rollbacker, but one of my favorite things to do is review and create new pages. Note that I just created a redirect from redirects for creation without thinking about coming here first, so I apologize for not being on the list of active reviewers beforehand. Thank you, Nanophosis (talk) 14:51, 6 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies if I am seen as a hat collecter. As that is not my intention. I have written 7 Start-class articles, including A Short Vision, and I also am a Pending Changes reviewer. I know I applied here a few months ago. However, I have read the criteria now, and now fully understand it. And, I would also be happy to review the backlog of pages, and to help new users as well with writing their first articles. Thank you. Hello. I'd like to help out with the backlog, even though it seems to have shrunk! Returning from an extended wikibreak, and was asked to wait on applying for NPP to demonstrate activity (fair enough). I'm pretty good with new editors, have some experience (several years back) doing copyvio work, and try to participate in AfD particularly around projects I'm editing in. Basie (talk) 06:33, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Probationary - 2 months. This is due to the long absence you've accumulated from 2014-2017 (having only done ~250 edits in 2018), over which time our guidelines have changed rather significantly. Please make sure to ask questions if you have any. Primefac (talk) 18:50, 10 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'll be sure to, thanks! Basie (talk) 20:52, 10 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I've been a NPP for a while now and also have the NPP rights. Would like to be added to the participants list in order to review any drafts which are within my areas of interest. Thanks you  LeoFrank  Talk 15:22, 9 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I handle a lot of drafts because of my participation at MfD and due to monitoring Category:Promising draft articles. Access to the functionality of the AfC helper script would expedite leaving the occasional {{afc comment}} etc. I already have the new page reviewer user right and meet all the criteria outlined at Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/Participants. — Godsy (TALKCONT) 17:52, 10 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Done. I know I don't have to remind you, but for posterity don't forget your IBAN. Primefac (talk) 18:50, 10 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi all, I would love to help out. I do my best to interpret wikipedia guidelines and policies fairly, and when I'm not sure I generally request input and collaboration from other editors. Basilosauridae❯❯❯Talk 18:24, 11 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to help out with the backlog. I have read and understand the reviewing instructions. When I do not understand something, I ask clarification from other editors to make sure what I am doing is right. Thank you. TheSubmarine (talk) 13:28, 12 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

NPR has been accorded on 3 month probation. User describes themselves as a 'hardcore inclusionist'. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 01:52, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: Transclude from NPR page: Inclusionist userbox was not created by me, I put it on user page when I began editing and have since removed it as I have gained familiarity with the website and my views have evolved. Etzedek24 (Would it kill ya to leave an edit summary?) 02:01, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Probation, which will be evaluated in 3-6 months. Being on probation only means that you can be removed from the list for any reason without prior discussion. I think I'm seeing the same things that were seen at the NPR request. Primefac (talk) 02:15, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'd like to become a AfC reviewer. Seams likes something I'd be good at. I also like to contribute to Wikipedia more this way. I see there's a long backlog. And overtime I've learned how to make article worthy for Wikipedia.

information Administrator note Not bloody likely with that mess of a signature. Nick (talk) 16:14, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
information Administrator note Sig has been changed. Primefac (talk) 16:25, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Question: How does having a signature that one dislikes relate to the ability to accept or decline drafts?--SkyGazer 512 Oh no, what did I do this time? 16:32, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't, and I don't think anyone was really going to take it into account. The notice would have been better left at the user's talk page (which I did, not seeing this comment first). Primefac (talk) 17:01, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
We've got the signature policy/guideline which BrandonALF clearly hasn't read or has decided to not follow - that calls into question their ability to follow important policies and guidelines like WP:BLP, WP:CORP, WP:N etc when reviewing a draft article. Nick (talk) 17:23, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not an admin and I'm not saying the Brandon necessarily should become an AfC reviewer, but imo their sig shouldn't count that much against them. There are so many policies on Wikipedia that somebody may miss a few sometimes, and this particular one has nothing to do with AfC reviewing - what would be more concerning is if BrandonALF refused to change their sig after being told to.--SkyGazer 512 Oh no, what did I do this time? 17:49, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Not done. There are just too many issues here to make me feel comfortable accepting you into this project. Your AFD record is subpar, half the pages you've created have been deleted for one reason or another, and on the technical side of things it looks like there have been some major issues with not paying attention to what you were doing when you were editing templates. Primefac (talk) 02:15, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I meet the technical requirements for a AfC reviewer, and I understand there is a backlog right now of over 1500 articles (?!!). I've written several articles of my own, and I have now thoroughly read over the AfC reviewing instructions. I will be glad to defer to my more experienced comrades and to consult with them in those instances where I have doubts about a given draft article: I grasp that AfC must be done correctly, and am interested in sharing my knowledge as an editor with those who have shown that they are wiling to offer their work for review. A loose noose (talk) 00:22, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Not done, does not meet minimum editing requirements, and the AFD log is rather distressing and shows a lack of understanding of the notability criteria. Primefac (talk) 02:15, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, then, just so I know: what requirement am I not meeting yet? (I have over 500 edits and have passed the 90-day test). Also, it looks like my request got to you on an off day: it looks like you usually either accept or offer probationary acceptance to applicants, but decided flat-out against three of us in a row today. Was it... maybe not us?? (I wonder... If I had never done AfD, would you have viewed my request more favorably? AfD is always hit-or-miss, and I believe I showed some initiative by at least putting my hand at play, please do not punish me for trying to explore or learn). — Preceding unsigned comment added by A loose noose (talkcontribs) 09:33, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You didn't even manage to sign your post here. I would suggest taking the comments Primefac left entirely at face value, gain more experience and come back in a few months time. A bad review is considerably more problematic than no review at all, it is important reviews are conducted correctly and I don't think you're just quite at the level where I'd trust you to make good reviews >90% of the time. Nick (talk) 10:22, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding the edit question - it's 500 article-space edits, not 500 total. And no, you did not catch me on an off day; one of the requirements is a demonstration that you understand notability criteria, and a <50% "success" rate at AFD shows that this is not the case for you. Primefac (talk) 11:41, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to help for the new article drafts to be submitted as an article. I have understand about copyvios, in which recently I have been warned about the copyvios on my article. I have understand about WP:NOT and WP:COPYVIO since then. I have understand about WP:IBA, which is exactly what happened on this draft. I am also interested to repair drafts that lacks reference. Jeromi Mikhael (talk) 06:33, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. While I appreciate your enthusiasm, the past (though relatively recent) problems you've had with sourcing and copyrights, and lack of experience in the administrative side of Wikipedia, makes me believe you're not quite ready yet. Primefac (talk) 02:15, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I was denied before for not having page creation experience and to re-apply again later. I am still interested in the position so I am applying again. Thank you. AvalerionV 12:01, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! I'm a fairly experienced anti-vandalism WP:GNOME, who has recently spent considerable time reviewing WP:AFDs as well. I consider myself quite familiar with (and always trying to learn more about) the notability policies, and would like to help reduce the backlog of AFC entries. In fact, I installed the script and reviewed two articles before realizing I was supposed to start here - please forgive me! HunterM267 talk 18:03, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
To elaborate on my accidental usage of the AFC script prior to posting here, I had reviewed the pages for getting started, including this page, which outlined the processes - primarily installing the script. I had done so, found the script to work, and later added the participation userbox to my user page. After reviewing the participants section, I found that a formal request to join is necessary, and here I am! --HunterM267 talk 18:09, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The script is supposed to be designed so that even if it is installed, it doesn't work unless your name is on the list of participants. I'm guessing it has something to do with this bug? Anyways, it looks like you made the right choice for the two drafts you declined, so I wouldn't worry about it. :)--SkyGazer 512 Oh no, what did I do this time? 18:17, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I recently had my account renamed from Everymorning to IntoThinAir, so the link to my old username on this page needs to be replaced with one to my new username. Thanks. IntoThinAir (formerly Everymorning) talk 18:35, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'd like to help out with the AFC backlog. I meet all of the criteria and have read the reviewing instructions. IffyChat -- 11:34, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I meet all of the criteria successfully and have reviewed the instructions. I have worked with editors on a 1-on-1 basis in IRC and inside -help. I've also responded to "help me" requests and assisted other users. I would like to help with the backlog here at AfC and feel that I would be successful in doing so.
