The Tasmanian Electoral Commission (TEC) in Tasmania, a state of Australia, is an independent office which conducts parliamentary elections in the state. Elections for the House of Assembly take place every 4 years and for the Legislative Council every year on a rotational basis. The last election for the House of Assembly was the 2014 state election.[1]
