Though I do not come across pages with that level of protection often in the sports pages I edit, I would be wiling to assist in pending changes backlogs if it gets backed up. I've been editing for 6 years (almost to the day) and about 4 or 5 of those were editing on a regular basis with almost 11,000 edits to my name and over the course of these few years I've become familiar with most major policies. I'm still learning the ins and outs of some but the ones I need to know for pending changes I know. An interesting interaction with a pending change starts here: [2]. Please review my history on this article for how I became involved in an article that was pending changes protected and helped improve it immensely by listening to IP and new users and making the page more NPOV and conform to Wikipedia guidelines on attributing opinions. My policy is to try to figure out why the reader found the material disagreeable and try to see if Wikipedia guidelines are being met in the article.
