He was a younger son of [[Sir John Tynte, 2nd Baronet]], MP. He added the name of Kemys before his own when he inherited [[Cefn Mably]] from his uncle, Sir Charles Kemeys. He succeeded his brother Sir John Tynte 4th Baronet to [[Halswell House]] and the Tynte baronetcy in 1740.

Sir Charles Kemys Tynte, 5th Baronet (1710–1785), of Halswell House, near Bridgwater, Somerset and Cefn Mably, Glamorganshire, was a British politician. [1]

He was a younger son of Sir John Tynte, 2nd Baronet, MP. He added the name of Kemys before his own when he inherited Cefn Mably from his uncle, Sir Charles Kemeys. He succeeded his brother Sir John Tynte 4th Baronet to Halswell House and the Tynte baronetcy in 1740.

He was a Member (MP) of the Parliament of Great Britain for Monmouth Boroughs from 1745 to 1747 and for Somerset from 1747 to 1774.

He died unmarried in 1785.
