Welcome!

Hello, Cobanas, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one of your contributions does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{Help me}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  Dougweller (talk) 10:11, 29 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Cobanas reported by User:Dougweller (Result: ). Thank you. Dougweller (talk) 10:10, 29 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sources

You need to read WP:RS. It would be rare for a conference paper to be used as a source, and there is no doubt that experts on robotics in music cannot be used as a source for ethnicity. If you disagree, you can go to WP:RSN, but edit warring will get you blocked. Dougweller (talk) 10:14, 29 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring report

Despite being warned, you have already breached WP:3RR on Al-Jazari. Please comment here. Failure to respond and demonstrate your understanding of the policy and what you've done wrong may result in your being blocked.--Bbb23 (talk) 12:05, 29 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

al-Jazari

Please stop this. Your source does not meet our criteria at WP:RS. You need academic sources specialising in this field, not in robotics. Where he was born is immaterial, you need sources, see WP:VERIFY. Thanks. Dougweller (talk) 10:23, 2 December 2013 (UTC) i answered your in your talk page mister Dougweller ! you can not remove the resourced article by your own adjudication[reply]

It isn't just me saying your sources do not meet WP:RS, as is clear on my talk page. You can always got to WP:RSN and argue there that they meet our criteria. Dougweller (talk) 13:33, 3 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Since you are now using an IP to revert me I've taken this to WP:RSN, where I've also mentioned your latest edits which look very much like vandalism. Dougweller (talk) 13:49, 3 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

i wasn't signed in then ...

Information icon Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Assyrians in Iran. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Dougweller (talk) 13:53, 3 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

where is your source about the 50000 assyrian in iran ? here is my source : http://www1.jamejamonline.ir/newstext.aspx?newsnum=100951754043

به گفته دبیرکل اتحادیه جهانی آشوریان، جامعه آشوریان ایران هم اینک 20 هزار نفر جمعیت دارد و دارای یک کرسی در مجلس شورای اسلامی است.

Why don't you read the article. It's not my source, it's the source in the article. You changed 200,000 before the revolution to 20,000 before the revolution. Dougweller (talk) 17:26, 3 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Continued edit warring

If you don't agree to abide by consensus and stop trying to edit war badly sourced material into articles, I will take you to WP:ANI and let the community decide how to deal with you, either a topic ban or a much longer block, perhaps indefinite. Dougweller (talk) 09:42, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

i would be very happy if you do that & let community decide about your nationalism concerns which are associateed with your editing by your different accounts.

Lovely. Take me to WP:SPI, take me to WP:ANI. But I see you are awaiting a block anyway by refusing to self-revert. I've replied on my talk page and at User talk:Bbb23. Dougweller (talk) 14:49, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

i've answered your noising in the same place :)(talk)

2014 Northern Iraq offensive and Battle of Tikrit

The article 2014 Northern Iraq offensive is not about the overall conflict. Yes, you are right, the conflict does continue, however the militant offensive itself (which the article talks about) ended in late June. This was discussed on the articles talk page among editors and it was decided to close the article. If you want to update the overall ongoing conflict, feel free to update Iraqi insurgency (post-U.S. withdrawal). As for Tikrit, the article in question covers the battle/offensive that happened over the four-day period in late June. There were no new assaults or fighting in or around Tikrit for the last two weeks. The closest fighting was a full 10 miles south of Tikrit in a different town. The one-day assault from yesterday was a totally new battle/offensive. EkoGraf (talk) 14:14, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
