Nathan Gill is a Member of the European Parliament for the Wales region for the United Kingdom Independence Party, elected in 2014.

Early life and career

Born in England, his family moved to Wales in the early 1980s. Educated at Coleg Menai, he joined the family-owned Domiciliary and Home Care business for two English local authorities. After selling the business, he moved back to Wales, where he now lives with his wife and five children.[1]

Political career

A member of the Conservative Party, he reisgned to join UKIP from February 2005. After leading the UKIP group in the May 2013 local elections on Anglesey, he was selected as the first candidate for UKIP in the Wales in 2014, and was duly elected.
