Vineeta Rishi (born 15 February 1981), is a British actress of Indian descent, best known for playing Jas Khella in the BBC One soap opera Doctors.[1]

Raised in Walkergate, she was educated at Walkergate Primary and Junior School and Benfield Comprehensive School. She then undertook a business degree at Bradford University. After graduation she began working as a computer programmer, including for British Airways in London. During her spare time she discovered a passion for acting in Amateur Dramatics, and then choosing to change professions trained at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.[2]
