The 67th Fighter Wing (67 FW) is a disbanded unit of the United States Air Force, last stationed at Logan Airport, Boston, Massachusetts. It was withdrawn from the Massachusetts Air National Guard (MA ANG) and inactivated on 31 October 1950.

This wing is not related to the 67th Reconnaissance Wing or subsequent units that was constituted on 6 November 1947 and activated on 25 November 1947.

History

World War II=

Organized as a command and control organization for Eighth Air Force. Deployed to England in July 1943 and initially was used to organize air defense units. Transferred to VIII Fighter Command and controlled fighter-escort groups for 1st Bombardment Division B-17 Flying Fortress units engaged in strategic bombardment of enemy targets in Occupied Europe and Nazi Germany. Inactivated in November 1945.
