Brian Woolnough is a British sports journalist, currently the Chief Sports writer for tabloid the Daily Star.

Previously a writer for The Sun, Woolnough was lured to the Daily Star after owner Richard Desmond authorised a £200,000 pay packet in 2001.[1]

Since 2007, Woolnough has been the presenter of Sky Sport's Sunday Supplement, replacing icon Jimmy Hill.
