Jack Matthews OBE (born 21 August 1920 in Bridgend, Wales) is a former Wales rugby union international centre[1] who played first-class club rugby for Cardiff and Newport.

Having trained as a doctor, at the start of World War Two Matthews applied to join the Royal Air Force.
