Rockoons (Russian: Енотки) is a Russian animated television series produced by Soyuzmultfilm (SMF).[3][1][2]

Premise

The show centers on seven colored raccoons called Rockoons who are named after the notes of the scale. Each episode shows them focusing and using a certain kind of object (lantern, wheel, comb, etc.) as indicated by the episode title. After a few moments, the Rockoons gather on stage where they dance and sing a song about the object. A normal story resumes before the object transforms into an electronic chip, and flies into a jukebox to briefly replay the song which goes on even into the end credits.[4][5]

Characters

  • Doca (voiced by Vaughan Reilly in English) - A female orange Rockoon with hair tied in a bun with a green hairband with two red balls. She values order and tidiness. Her symbol is a house, which matches her duty to keep her friends safe and sound.
  • Re (voiced by Creed Upton in English) - A male green Rockoon with a yellow bowtie. He is curious, intelligent, and loves science experiments and technology. He also possesses great cooking skills and helpfulness for solving problems. His symbol is a jigsaw puzzle piece, which matches his curiosity, intelligence and his love for science.
  • Mimi (voiced by Emalyn Hedges in English) - A female yellow Rockoon with a bee-themed headband. She is easy-going and gentle, and is a flower fanatic. She also has a passion for drawing and painting. Her symbol is a flower, which matches her gardening hobby.
  • Faf (voiced by Julian Wanderer in English) - A male cyan Rockoon with green goggles on his head. He has mechanical skills, and can fix and invent stuff. He is a chubby and big raccoon who is kind of shy and indecisive on his other side, but is soft and warm-hearted with a love for hugs other than inventions. His symbol is a gear, which matches his helpfulness and love for fixing and inventing.
  • Soh (voiced by Kaian Lilien in English) - A male blue Rockoon with a red cap. He is sporty and athletic. Besides his athletic personality, he also writes short poems. He tends to say everything, without any embarrassment or omissions. He also dreams of shouting the loudest, building the biggest house or hold his breath the longest. His symbol is a lightning bolt, which matches his energized personality.
  • Lala (voiced by Samantha Hahn in English) - A female pink Rockoon who likes dancing and music, and has a ditzy personality. She, surprisingly, can solve riddles, and her catchphrase is "Ooh la la!" She is very chatty, but her dancing can arouse the others. Her symbol is a 4-pointed star, which matches her bubbly and bright personality.
  • Ti (voiced by Emalyn Hedges in English) - a small male purple Rockoon with a blue hat that has a drum on it. He does not say anything other than his name because of his young age. However, he is quite strong, and can therefore lift huge objects. His favorite toy is a wheeled caterpillar. His symbol is a swirl, which matches his youth.
