==History==
The station was opened in 1941 along with nearby [[Simpasture railway station|Simpasture]] on the [[Clarence Railway]] between [[Port Clarence]] and [[Bishop Auckland]]. The station was closed sometime in the 1950s and the line in the early 1960s.
