Rong Ding (Mandarin: 丁融, born 1970), also known as DING Rong, is a Chinese painter and photographer. He is a member of Shenzhen Artists Association and Shanghai Artists Association. His work is known for the Zen idea and sincerity being depicted in his painting.

Early life and education

Rong was born in Shanghai in 1970 into an artistic family. He graduated from the Journalism Department of the Communication University of China in 1983.

Works

Rong's work mainly focuses on flora and fauna of his homeland.[1] In recent years, produced a collection of flower paintings on rice paper characterized by his unique personal style.[2][3] In Rong's paintings, Zen is the unwavering commitment that endures even after experiencing the dust and turmoil of life. Through intuitive thought, he painted Zen into the space of the canvas.[3]

His most recent oil painting series is With Love and Nectar.[4]
