Chris Horsman (born 2 February, 1977) is a Welsh rugby union international, currently playingclub rugby for Worcester Warriors in the Guinness Premiership.
Club career
Starting out at Bath RFC, Horsman joined Bridgend RFC in 2002. Offered a place in the England national rugby union team, he choose to serve the three year international residency qualification to play for Wales[1]. With the advent of regional rugby in Wales, Horsman was called up to the Celtic Warriors regional side, but when the club was disbanded due to financial difficulties in 2004, he was forced to seek another club, ending up at Worcester.
International career
Horsman made his full Welsh debut on 11 November, 2005 against Fiji at the Millenium Stadium[2], and is now a regular in the Welsh national team.
Personal life
In 1997, Horsman was diagnosed with cancer, which was successfully treated, only for him to succumb to a second bout of the disease. Fortunately, this second occurrence of the disease was also nullified and Horsman returned to rugby. Horsman lives in Porthcawl.
