Culligan Quench is a water technology company that rents and services filtered water coolers.[1] Culligan Quench is a leading provider of point-of-use water coolers, sparkling water, ice machines, and coffee dispensers to workplaces. The company became a subsidiary of Culligan through Culligan’s acquisition of AquaVenture Holdings in 2019.[2] Culligan Quench partners with businesses, hospitality services, and other organizations to deliver sustainable hydration solutions. Culligan Quench offers plumbed-in water filtration systems designed to provide clean, filtered water, and other beverage services without the need for bottled water.

According to the site, over seventy-five percent of the Fortune 500 are customers. Zenith International lists Culligan Quench as a leading distributor in the point-of-use (POU) market along with Nestle Waters.[3] Culligan Quench is headquartered in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Quench was named an Online Marketing Success Story in Google's 2011 Economic Impact Report.[4] In 2008, Quench was named a top 25 most successful startup by Businessweek.[5]

Rebrand to Culligan Quench

In January 2025, Quench USA officially rebranded as Culligan Quench.[6] This change reflects its integration into the Culligan Water family and aligns with the company's mission to offer a comprehensive range of hydration solutions to businesses and consumers.

Products description

Water Solutions

Culligan Quench’s water systems are plumbed directly into a building's water supply. The systems use advanced filtration technologies such as carbon filtration, UV water disinfection, and reverse osmosis to remove contaminants and improve the water's taste.

During the COVID-19 outbreak, Culligan Quench launched a line of touchless water dispensing machines to reduce communal touchpoints in the workplace.[7]

Culligan Quench water dispensers have a built-in filtration technology that produces quenchWATER+. This mineral-infused, electrolyte-enhanced water is produced by Culligan Quench’s proprietary 5-stage filtration system, which includes a mineral add-back filter.

Ice Machines

High-capacity ice bins and dispensers were added to Culligan Quench’s product line in 2013.[8] Culligan Quench offers a wide range of ice machines suitable for various environments, from small offices to large warehouses and fleet distribution centers. According to the website, its ice machines come equipped with advanced filtration technologies like reverse osmosis and carbon filtration. Ice production ranges from 7 lbs per day for small offices to 900 lbs per day for large facilities.

Sparkling Dispensers

Culligan Quench has a presence in the hospitality sector, offering high-capacity point-of-use sparkling water dispensers.[9] These systems are ideal for hotels, resorts, cruise lines, restaurants, and conference centers. Culligan Quench offers flavored and enhanced water options through its partnership with Bevi. In 2025, it launched a Culligan manufactured flavored and sparkling water dispenser called Twist.

Coffee Machines

In November 2023, Culligan Quench expanded its coffee offering with the acquisition of Neighbors Coffee Co., a move that underscores the company’s growing focus on beverage solutions beyond water.[10]

Culligan Quench provides a range of coffee brewers, including Nespresso and Keurig machines, designed for office environments. These systems are plumbed directly into a building’s water supply, and filter water through a carbon filter for coffee brewing.

Studies

A 2018 survey conducted by Culligan Quench revealed that nearly 80% of working Americans report not drinking enough water daily, highlighting the need for workplace hydration solutions.[11]

Community Outreach

In 2023, Culligan Quench joined the charity: water community, committing to help end the global water crisis.[12] The company also partners with Day Zero Water, a student-led nonprofit dedicated to improving water quality in schools and communities. One notable partnership occurred in October 2023 when Culligan Quench donated a Q12 water filtration system to Monsignor Scanlan High School in the Bronx, New York.[13]

Furthermore, Culligan Quench partnered with Long Island Jewish Valley Stream Hospital in 2024 to help the hospital reduce its use of single-use plastic bottles. Culligan Quench installed 50 water stations throughout the hospital, which gave the hospital staff and patients unlimited access to filtered drinking water.[14]
