List of current champions in TNA Wrestling
Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Nashville, Tennessee. Title reigns are either determined by professional wrestling matches or are awarded to a wrestler as a result of the culmination of various scripted storylines. There are three active singles championships and one active tag team championship for (primarily) male wrestlers, a singles and tag team championship specifically for female wrestlers, and an open championship available to anyone.
Eight wrestlers currently hold the championships (including one double champion). The list includes the number of times the wrestler has held the title, the date and location of the win, and a description of the winning bout. The following is correct as of July 21, 2024.[1]
Overview
Men
At the top of the TNA championship hierarchy is the TNA World Championship. The championship is currently held by Nic Nemeth, who is in his first reign. He defeated previous champion Moose, Josh Alexander, Steve Maclin, Frankie Kazarian, and Joe Hendry in a Six-way elimination match at Slammiversary on July 20, 2024 to win the title.
The secondary title is the TNA X Division Championship, which is currently held by two-time champion Mike Bailey, who defeated Mustafa Ali on July 20, 2024 at Slammiversary.[2]
A tertiary level title is the Canadian International Heavyweight Championship and TNA Digital Media Championship, held by first time champion PCO. He defeated A. J. Francis on July 20, 2024 at Slammiversary to win the titles.
The TNA World Tag Team Championship is currently held by ABC (Ace Austin and Chris Bey), who are in their third reign as a team as well as individually. They defeated The System (Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers) on July 20, 2024 at Slammiversary to win the titles.
A wrestler who has held the World, X Division, and Tag Team Championships is recognized to have won the TNA Triple Crown. If any winner of the Triple Crown has also won either the TNA Television Championship or the Impact Grand Championship (both defunct), they are also recognized to have won the TNA Grand Slam.
Women
The top singles championship specifically contested for female wrestlers - promoted as the Knockouts division - is the TNA Knockouts World Championship, which is held by Jordynne Grace, who is in her third reign. She defeated Trinity on January 13, 2024, at Hard To Kill to win the title.[3]
The championship for female tag teams is the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship. The Malisha (Masha Slamovich and Alisha Edwards) are the current champions in their first reign as a team. Individually, this is the first reign for Edwards and third for Slamovich. They defeated Spitfire (Dani Luna and Jody Threat) on May 3, 2024 in Albany, New York at Under Siege to win the titles.
Open
The TNA Digital Media Championship is a tertiary level open championship. A. J. Francis is the current champion in his first reign. He defeated Laredo Kid on May 19, 2024 during the Impact! 20th Anniversary Show to win the title (aired on tape delay June 6).[4]
A female wrestler who has held the Knockouts, Knockouts Tag Team and Digital Media Championships is considered to have won the Knockouts Triple Crown.[5]
