I think an audio sample is contextually significant given that the lyrics to the song were deleted from the main article and the visibility for all revisions that contained it was changed to "hidden". CentreLeftRight 20:13, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I forgot to add about the file failing WP:NFCC#3b. For further access to the full song, I added external links to authorized, legitimate video uploaded by CCTV. Regarding the sample, I hear just a snippet of lyrics sung in Chinese. They can identify a portion of the song, and they can help readers recognize the portion. However, I don't see how it fully helps readers contextually understand the song as a whole. George Ho (talk) 21:05, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Furthermore, so many artists have sung this song, yet we're unsure whose performances are prominent to this song. This snippet is 30 seconds, unfortunately, doesn't illustrate how this specific recording is contextually significant. Speaking of 30 seconds, I also realize that the song is short; so have been recordings. MOS:SAMPLE may be a "rule of thumb", but I like to be precise about the timings and length. --George Ho (talk) 21:21, 7 February 2022 (UTC); edited, 10:10, 9 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oops, didn't realize it's 16 seconds. --George Ho (talk) 10:10, 9 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
