Davis, Knapp School of Country Life, George Peabody College for Teachers, Nashville, Tenn. TT cannot be said that there is any real school organized solely forthe teaching of methods in agricultural education. Subject matterin agriculture itself is offered at the agricultural and mechanicalcolleges in each State, but this instruction is not intended primarily forteachers. The various State normal schools also offer instruction inagriculture. As a rule this is far more elementary than that offeredat the colleges, and has little, if any, so-called methods in it. There is one school, however, which offers regular courses intendedfor teachers in methods of teaching agriculture. This is the KnappSchool of Country Life at George Peabody College for Teachers. Ofcourse this school also gives instruction in pure agriculture, and, indeed,offers as many courses along this line as
