English: River Wey Navigation: Bowers Lock This is the upstream end of the lock which has a larger than usual fall of about 7 feet. The lock bypass cut goes under the bridge to the right. The white disc with '8t' on it on the bridge girderwork is an 8 ton advisory weight limit for maintenance vehicles using the bridge. |
